Testing can be a bit difficult because there are two pins for the connector and they serve different purposes however the best method of testing it is to measure the resistance between the sensor and the ECU. It should read about 1000 ohms when it is operating at its maximum. If you're experiencing issues with this component, look for evidence of coolant or oil in the connector bay. 2. Injectors Yesterday accelerating full speed from highway paytoll, i experienced massive power loss as if the engine was running out of gas or the injectors are not firing any more. I took out the spark plugs this morning, three were drenched in gasoline and the 4th was dry. When i crank the engine with no sparks i put tissue on the top of each hole in the injector and the 3 drenched with gazoline jump out but the 4th stay closed. I inspected the ground connection on ECU pins 14/55,30/55 and 48/55 I get zero ohm. I assume that the problem is in another location.
